Scenaria was devised to bridge the gap between Opera and Musical Theatre as well as to create a performance platform for talented artists. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we are unable to bring our live theatre shows together for the remainder of 2020 but did not want to let the situation stop us creating and connecting with creatives all over the country. With this in mind we thought we would bring one of our projects online instead as an IGTV concert series.
A Shakespearean Summer echos a past original production; Love, Labour & Loss; Shakespeare Through Song. We loved exploring the work of William Shakespeare and how it has made its way into many musical forms, including, Opera, Musical Theatre, Classical Song & Jazz. Our online IGTV Concert Series will see artists from the world of Opera & Musical Theatre come together to celebrate the work of William Shakespeare, Through Song.
At 7pm on weekdays from 22nd June - 13th July we will be releasing a piece performed by a Musical Theatre or Opera artist on our Instagram @scenarialtd - we would love you to join us and hope you enjoy A Shakespearean Summer (through song)!
