About Us

SCENARIA are a professional and ambitious London based music theatre production company and arts education project dedicated to doing things differently!

We produce innovative, affordable and un-intimidating pieces of music theatre working with the very best up and coming artists from the worlds of opera and musical theatre, including singers, actors, musicians, dancers, designers and venues. We aim to create opportunities for young artists at the early stage of their careers using new-writing and re-imagining both classic and contemporary works from the worlds of opera and music theatre.

We are a young company and still in our infancy but have already produced two new pieces of music theatre to roaring reviews and are currently in preparation to launch our next season featuring re-inventions of contemporary works.

Scenaria bring the UK's finest young artists to some of the most beautiful and intimate venues all over the country creating new theatrical experiences making sure that as many people as possible are able to experience

the highest quality productions right on their doorstep and experience something NEW!

Our performers, creatives and designers are all graduates of London's top Music Conservatoires and Drama Schools. We bring together those from the worlds of opera and musical theatre to create something truly unique and memorable.

In 2020 we launched Scenaria Academy bringing professional training opportunities to young people across the UK. Our masterclass and workshop leaders are not only incredible performers in their field but are also DBS checked and accredited teachers too.  As well as running our own workshops around the country, Scenaria Academy can be booked by your school or theatre group for one off workshops.

To find out more about upcoming workshops and information about our teaching faculty head over to the SCENARIA ACADEMY page.

The majority of Scenaria's funding comes from the box office but we also run our own supporters scheme, for which we are incredibly grateful. If you’d like to learn more about how you can support our work, please visit our SUPPORT US page.
